I would like to call this Series -  'The Album'. Mostly, in Every home, there will be one Special Album flooded with our memories, our past, our happiness, our Life. Even I have one. Technically, it was my Grandfather's. My Grandfather was an Ex-Serviceman who worked all over India, he used to share his memories with me, tell stories about his life and the people he met during his Service days. Once he showed me this Album when I was 7 or 8, I was excited to see this Album later whenever I visit my Grandpa's House in Chennai. It was simple, natural and I think that made it so special. I think that was the medium where I am now and my love for Photographs, I ask myself while I am writing this. Yes, it could be. It gave me all memories and permission to go back and seek into my Grandpa's Life - how hard he worked, how well he preserved his memories, how well he lived his life. I still remember, he used to sit and share his memory with every photograph, the album had. There are pictures like 60-year old Photographs of my Grandmother and even it has childhood pictures of my Mom. This Series is very close to me. I hope it will put a smile on each and everyone who comes across this and maybe gives you the thought to go back to your room and take out that one Album or a Photograph that is special to you.
